Actress Reham Hajjaj thanked the Ministry of Health after responding to her request to treat a Palestinian child.
Reham published a post on her Instagram account, which said: “Thank you to Mr. Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, who reached me to Dr. Tamer, director of Bir Al-Abd Hospital, who reassured me about the child Ibrahim, who will be transferred to one of the major hospitals in Cairo to receive treatment.”
She continued: “With all taste and humanity, he spoke to me about many other cases. God willing, they will be supported and healed well.”
She added: “Thank you to Dr. Ahmed Saafan, Assistant Minister of Health, for his interest, responding to all the details, and giving every opportunity to help, and of course, great thanks to the Egyptian state and the president for the quick response and providing support to our sisters and children.”
She concluded: “Thank you to everyone who sent me a critical case so we can try to reach it, and thank you to everyone who made a prayer from their heart. There is a shortage of medical supplies, especially anesthesia supplies, for those who are concerned and want to help.”
Reham Hajjaj announced her willingness to take care of the condition of a Palestinian child and bear the costs of his treatment and what he was exposed to as a result of the Israeli army’s bombing of civilian homes in Gaza.
Reham Hajjaj commented on the video of the Palestinian child, which she posted on her Instagram account: “My beloved, my son, this child needs to come to Egypt immediately, and I am ready to bear his care and treatment, but he will enter Egypt. I hope all relevant authorities intervene.”
The video clip showed that the Palestinian child is called Ibrahim Al-Dahouj, and he said in his call for help: “My name is Ibrahim Al-Dahouj. I was injured and have been lying around for 32 days. My wound is open, and the doctors here at Al-Shifa Hospital cannot do anything other than what I did, and within 48 hours, if I do not travel to any country, all of my hands will be amputated and I cannot.” At that time, I put on a prosthetic limb, and I appeal to the Egyptian state to quickly travel to receive treatment before it is amputated.”
It is noteworthy that the artist Reham Hajjaj’s last artistic participation was the series “Jamila”, which was shown during the last Ramadan drama season.
