The San Nicolás de Bari insertion center is full of activity with the launch of the “Rehabilitate with Heart” Experiential Program in which 20 students participate.
Patricia, a carpentry student, appreciates this new training opportunity. «I have professional experience in urban furniture maintenance and now this new, more specific training in the production of new furniture opens up new job opportunities for me. For Mª Carmen «In the theoretical training I am learning new concepts, the teacher makes learning easy. We have started to use tools and make small pieces of furniture.
During the 12-month duration, the recovery of the exterior walls and a cistern in San Nicolás is planned, as well as the provision of furniture for the housing units that Cáritas makes available to people in need. We highlight the diversity of the students, the good atmosphere and the willingness to learn.
