Regulations to contain the coronavirus – the district baths will be closed from next Monday, November 02, 2020

District of Ludwigshafen – Following the discussions between the Chancellor and the Prime Ministers of the federal states this week, various measures will be taken to contain the now exponential increase in new corona infections. The state of Rhineland-Palatinate is therefore expected to issue a new Corona Control Ordinance today.

One of the measures will be that the swimming pools, fun pools and saunas will be temporarily closed. As a result of this meeting, the Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis will therefore completely close its district baths from next Monday, November 2nd until November 30th, 2020.
Furthermore, the memorial service for the day of national mourning on Sunday, November 15, 2020 in Dannstadt-Schauernheim will not take place.

“Since the number of infections is increasing every day, the planned contact restrictions are inevitable,” emphasizes District Administrator Clemens Körner. “We should all adjust to the measures, deal with them – and preferably immediately and not only after the new state ordinance comes into force. This also means that Halloween parties and the collection of sweets on October 31 should be avoided. “
