Regulation of temporary work: why the Rist law makes hospitals tremble

Solution to put an end to the “cannibal” temporary work which plagues the hospital system, or a false good idea which risks above all putting health establishments in even more difficulty? The cap on the rates of temporary doctors, provided for in article 33 of the so-called “Rist” law (named after the majority deputy Stéphanie Rist), must come into force on April 3. But the unions and many caregivers warn against the possible consequences of such a measure… of which they however approve the principle.
