Interior Minister Lambert Noël Matha has extended the date of registration operations on the electoral lists by three days.

Started on May 9 for 30 days, the registration operation on the electoral lists will end on June 11, 2023, as announced by Interior Minister Lambert Noel Matha. Indeed, the date has been extended to allow latecomers to register on the electoral lists. «Our compatriots are still waiting for the last moment to storm the enrollment centers. Since yesterday, this is what is happening. Faced with this enthusiasm, the interministerial council ruled earlier on the date of the end of the period of revision of the electoral lists, and it was agreed that we could extend for three days. So, instead of tomorrow, the end of the revision of the electoral lists is scheduled for Sunday, June 11 at 6 p.m., hoping that there will not be a second extension.», explained the Minister of the Interior.

A total of 159 enrollment centers have been opened on national territory and abroad. To this end, several criteria are established for registration on these electoral lists.
