From September 23rd to October 16th, the district of Würzburg will once again be transformed into an autumnal cultural landscape. According to a press release from the Würzburg district office, a mix of traditional customs and contemporary art will attract culture enthusiasts to the 52 district municipalities for three weeks in the anniversary year “50 years of the district of Würzburg”.
The format offers all creative people in the district a platform to realize and present their cultural contribution. Whether concert, dance or theatre, whether cabaret, film, arts and crafts or painting – contributions can be registered from all cultural sectors. The program and works should be specially designed for the cultural autumn. Anyone can take part, amateur artist or professional, club or private person. Young, as yet unknown artists are particularly welcome. In addition to the classic on-site event, digital cultural offerings or hybrid combinations of online and face-to-face events are also possible, according to the press release.
The participants organize the program contributions themselves. The district of Würzburg acts as coordinator and organizer for the joint advertising material and creates the program brochure, a Saturday supplement in the Main-Post and print templates for posters. The district of Würzburg bears the costs for this.
