The National Coordination of Benito Juárez Welfare Scholarships (CNBBBJ) reported that starting this Friday the registration process will begin for the online application to the waiting list to be a beneficiary of the Benito Juárez Basic Education Welfare Scholarship, through the online Incorporation Request Card (CSI) digital tool.

The SEP indicated that once the CSI is completed, and if the result is favorable, they must complete in the same period of time a Unique Card (CU), which is the digital questionnaire through which socioeconomic and school information is collected, to be considered on the program’s waiting list. Families who do not meet the CSI requirements will be notified through the digital tool.

The federal agency clarified that filling out does not guarantee that the family will receive the scholarship, since its incorporation depends on compliance with the requirements established in the current Operating Rules, the allocated budget and the available spaces in the registry of beneficiaries.

Families who complete both questionnaires must follow up on the results using the Folio Finder digital tool. If the result is favorable, applicants will be notified through the email they registered, the date, time and CNBBBJ service office, to come with the requested documentation and continue the process.

Applicants, stated the SEP, must take into account the following recommendations: the filling out of the forms must be done only by the mother, father, or representative of the family (grandmother, grandfather, sister or brother of legal age) or guardian.

He added that in order to avoid being discarded due to duplication, it is important not to fill out the application more than once per family. It is necessary to have a telephone number and email address, since the acknowledgment of the request will be sent this way and will be the only means of contact to receive information.

Selected beneficiaries must attend the appointment on the day and time assigned to them, bringing with them complete, current and in good condition documentation. There will be no subsequent appointments. The application form will be valid during the 2023–2024 school year.
