The Municipality of Medina del Campothrough the Department of Women, Integration, Equality and Social Housing, has organized the VI Women’s Race.

This test has the objectives of making women visible in the world of sports, promoting the practice of sports and healthy lifestyles among women and, finally, the recognition of many women who have overcome specific problems due to the fact of being a woman ( victims of gender violence, affected by breast cancer, etc.).

As in previous years, two modalities are established: “Race” in which women over 12 years of age may participate individually or by mother and daughter teams (formed by two women) and “March” which will accommodate all those walkers without age limit who want to participate in the test.

The women’s race will be held on September 17, 2022 at 8:00 p.m., starting and finishing in the Plaza Mayor. The circuit will have a route of 5.56 km, completely urban and through the center of the town. Registration begins on Monday, August 1 and will be open until Wednesday, September 14 at 3:00 p.m. On the day of the test, no registrations or changes of modality will be accepted.
