Starting next year, the Mexican government will begin giving women ages 60 to 64 a pension of 3,000 pesos every two months in recognition of a lifetime of work.
As part of the Wellbeing Programs, the delivery of this pension will be gradual: first, In 2025 it will be awarded to women aged 63 and 64while for the remaining ages it will be in 2026.
In municipalities with a majority of indigenous or Afro-Mexican population, all women over 60 years of age They will receive the new pension from next year.
From the age of 65, both women and men can receive the Universal Pension for the well-being of the Elderly, which provides 6,000 pesos every two months.
Registration for the new program will be done from the next October 7 to November 30 in modules of the Welfare Secretariatwhich can be located in gob.mx/bienestar.
Registration of older adults will be carried out by days according to the initial letter of the first surname, as follows:

Los documents that must be delivered are the following:
- Valid official identification (voter ID, passport, professional ID, INAPAM credential, identity card)
- Legible birth certificate
- CURP (recent printing)
- Proof of address (no older than 6 months: telephone, electricity, gas, water, property)
- Contact telephone number (cell phone and home)
- Completed Wellness Form
The new pension will be paid like all Wellbeing Programs, through the Wellbeing Bank, for which the corresponding cards will be delivered starting in January.
