Emmental Versicherung is launching the “AgroPrize” innovation competition for the 31st time. Farmers or farming groups can apply with their creative and innovative ideas until June 30, 2023. The total prize money is CHF 50,000. All project submissions for the “AgroPrize” are examined by a jury consisting of an independent jury. A maximum of five projects are then nominated. The nominees receive a prize of CHF 5,000 each and can present their projects at the 31st “AgroPrize” ceremony on November 2, 2023 in the Kursaal Bern. The winning project will be determined and awarded on site.
The competition also includes the CHF 5,000 special prize for agricultural engineering from the Swiss Agricultural Machinery Association SLV, which is chosen from among all the projects submitted for the “AgroPrize”.
