The RLSW Regionalliga Südwest GmbH is looking for a Marketing and Communication Manager (m/f/d) from October 1, 2024
The position is initially limited to two years.
The Regionalliga Südwest is one of the most successful and renowned football leagues in Germany. Since our founding in 2012, numerous teams from the federal states of Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland have played in the league, representing the southwest of Germany at the 4th division level and often developing sustainably for promotion to the top three leagues. Our league stands for exciting football, emotions and passion on and off the pitch.
Since the season (2023/2024), the Regionalliga Südwest game operations have been organized by the newly founded RLSW Regionalliga Südwest GmbH. We are still in an exciting restructuring process, which we would like to design and pursue together with a committed employee (m/f/d) in the area of marketing and communication.
Your position
- Basic structure and organization of a Marketing and Communications department
- Development and implementation of marketing strategies to increase the awareness and attractiveness of the Regionalliga Südwest
- Planning and implementation of PR campaigns and public relations
- Creation and maintenance of content for our social media channels, website and newsletter
- Support and expansion of media contacts as well as maintenance of the press distribution list
- Organisation of press conferences and events
- Analysis and reporting of marketing activities as well as market and competition monitoring
- Working with our marketing agency and developing and maintaining partnerships and sponsorship opportunities
- Further development of our live streaming offer
Your lineup
- Completed studies in marketing, communication sciences, PR, sports economics or a comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in marketing and/or public relations, ideally in the sports sector
- Experience in working with agencies and in partner acquisition and support is an advantage
- High affinity for sports, especially football
- Creativity and a feel for appealing and target group-oriented communication
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Confident use of common social media platforms and content management systems
- Organisational talent, ability to work in a team and an independent way of working
