The crucifixion of the candidate regional councilors in the Regional Unit of Ioannina was also finalized. The results were posted by the Region of Epirus on its website, after a cross-examination with the Court of First Instance of Ioannina.
The new Epirus Regional Council will have 45 councillors. Of these, 22 will come from the Regional Unit of Ioannina – 14 from the faction of Alekos Kahrimanis, 2 from the faction of Yiannis Stefos, 2 from the faction of Stefanos Zoumbas, 2 from the faction of Giorgos Prentzas, 1 from the faction of Spyros Rizopoulos (who resigned the day after the elections as leader) and 1 from the faction of Lambros Georgopoulos.
