FC Lorenzreuth – TSV Kirchenlaibach 3: 2 (1: 1)
The pressure to succeed for FC Lorenzreuth did not decrease when it fell behind early after a bad pass. The hosts, however, vigorously opposed it and benefited from an even more blatant mishap in the Kirchenlaibach defense. As a result, the Lorenzeuther dominated the game, but without creating dangerous scoring chances.
After the break, the FCL played wait and see and let the guest come first. After winning the ball in midfield, Walek was cleared exemplary, and he marked the opening goal for the home team. Almost immediately afterwards, central defender Nothhaft played an outstanding interface pass, and again Walek was there and pushed in to make the acclaimed 3-1. After this double strike, Lorenzreuth switched to counterattack, but missed to extend the lead. TSV Kirchenlaibach tried everything to avert the defeat, but the goal was too late to initiate a turnaround. The referee team led generously, but had the game under control at all times. The FCL earned the important points with a united combative team performance.
