The head of the list Les Républicains at the regional meetings of June 20 and 27 presented his health program on April 22. A key theme in this campaign, in the midst of a health crisis.
Ten millions. Aurélien Pradié comes to the bedside of the health sector in the region by putting ten million euros on the table. To buy equipment and finance “a thousand emergency equipment because what the Region and Carole Delga are offering is insufficient”, said the deputy of Lot, pointing to the 200 additional health staff positions announced by the outgoing PS president.
Telemedecine
Aurélien Pradié wants in particular to develop telemedicine against medical deserts, “ensure that each inhabitant has access to emergency cardiac or obstetric care in less than 30 minutes”, develop prevention and make “the health of women and young people a priority with € 250,000 each year for associations working for contraception and abortion”. The candidate promises besides “free access to periodic protection in each high school, I don’t understand why this is not yet the case”. Also on the program: € 7 million to equip high schools with air purifiers, the creation of a regional team against addictions, a mental health plan, € 2 million to support caregivers or a warning system against school bullying.
