This system is intended to promote sustainable development and the attractiveness of territories. It aims to support structuring and ecological projects. The funding provided to the Dijon region by the Burgundy-Franche-Comté regional council as part of this contract amounts to more than 21 million euros in total. The latter is intended to support projects such as the renovation of condominiums, the development of cycle paths, the improvement of tramways, support for higher education, and the construction of a vegetable market.
Targeted investments
The Norge and Tille community of communes will use part of the envelope to create an out-of-school center, representing 250,000 euros. For its part, the Community of Communes of Plaine Dijonnaise will focus on projects linked to adaptation to climate change, services to the population, and mobility.
Through these initiatives, the Burgundy-Franche-Comté Region is committed to promoting territorial solidarity by supporting the most vulnerable territories to promote their development. At the regional level, a total of €100 million was awarded to 35 territorial contracts, with an additional €70 million dedicated to five metropolitan components.
