With a deadline extension until August 12, the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage reiterates the invitation to participate in the 2023 call for the Fund for the Promotion of Art in Education (FAE).
The initiative seeks to contribute to the strengthening of artistic training processes and arts education programs for children and adolescents of school age and encourage the incorporation of sociocultural approaches as relevant content for the development of artistic education processes.
The fund, managed by the Department of Education and Training in Arts and Culture, has a total of $600 million for the total or partial financing of projects aimed at the development of training and pedagogical processes linked to the arts, both in the formal system and non-formal education throughout the country.
The foregoing, by supporting the curricular strengthening of the institutions, the permanent training of the pedagogical teams and the training processes of students with outstanding abilities and aptitudes through the artistic talents modality.
The call considers a maximum financing of $10 million per project, except in the artistic talents modality, whose limit per project is $5 million.
As in the last calls, this year the competition ensures the award of at least one project in each of the regions that submit admissible applications.
Financing lines
to line 1 of financing can apply schools and artistic high schools of the formal school system, as well as other establishments subsidized by the State that, having the characteristics of establishments that impart specialized artistic education, do not have the formal recognition of “artistic”.
on line 2the call is to non-school, non-profit institutions and organizations, whose mission is the specialized artistic training of children and adolescents of school age, such as, for example, academies, conservatories, schools of art and culture, schools of theater, dance, music, plastic arts, circus, etc.
line 3 aims at education and artistic mediation implemented by cultural spaces through projects of creation, production and/or dissemination of arts and cultures and that develop systematic processes of education or artistic mediation with children and adolescents with educational establishments that receive State subsidies , including kindergartens.
These artistic and cultural institutions and organizations must be non-profit and have a track record of at least two continuous years (as of 2015), in the development of systematic processes of education, training or artistic mediation aimed at children and adolescents. , or in collaboration with educational establishments.
Applications will be received until 5:00 p.m. on August 12 through the fondodecultura.cl platform. It can also be submitted in paper format, in the case of Los Ríos at the offices of the SEREMI of Cultures located at General Lagos 1234, Valdivia.
