The Los Lagos Region registered 380 new cases of covid-19 in the weekly report delivered by the Health Department, a document that includes data from January 28 to February 2.
As will be recalled, since the beginning of January the health authority has been disclosing the data on this issue on a weekly and not daily basis, as was the case until the end of 2022.
Regarding the information reported in the last report, it can be indicated that with this new figure, Los Lagos accumulated a total of 240,324 cases to date, of which 189 remain active.
Likewise, the health authority also reported that the region has four deaths with covid-19 between January 28 and February 2, raising this figure to 2,177 since the start of the pandemic.
The communal breakdown indicates that the dead patients resided in the communes of Puerto Montt (2), Puerto Varas (1) and Ancud (1).
