Reggiana’s coup at Sampdoria: Pisa, Spezia and Sassuolo do well

The second day of the championship Serie B which opened yesterday with a 2-1 victory for Modena against the Barihas seen the Salerno surrender to the South Tyrol for 3-2: a goal by Rover in the final minutes was decisive.

And Sudtirol is the only team with full points seen but is chased by Pisa who beat 2-0 Palermo (second consecutive defeat and still 0 points in the standings): own goal by Nedelceauru (4′) and doubling by Bonfanti (66′). Good also for Spice who beat 2-1 Frosinone: guests take the lead with Cuni (38′), the home team equalises with Esposito on a penalty in the 75th minute and then the lead in the 92nd minute scored by Aurelio.

However, they also keep up with the very best Sassuolo who wins 2-1 against Cesena (Antiste and Russo score for the black-greens, temporary equaliser by Curto) and the Reggio Emilia who wins 1-0 at home to Sampdoria (Vergara’s goal was decisive). A great success also for Citadel who narrowly (1-0) won at home against Brescia (Carissoni’s goal), while making the most of the home field advantage Cremonese which beats 1-0 Carrara (goal at Vazquez).

The day ends tomorrow with Catanzaro – Juve Stabia (8.30pm) and Mantua-Cosenza (ore 20:30).
