Regent of the Meranti Islands Muhammad Adil was reportedly caught in a sting operation (OTT) by KPK. A number of Meranti Regency Government offices were seen to have been sealed.
In the video and photos received, you can see the room of the Meranti Regional Secretary (Sekda) which was sealed. There is also a Public Relations and Protocol room with the Meranti Regency logo.
“The room of the Secretary of the Meranti Islands Regency was sealed by the Corruption Eradication Commission tonight,” said the video recorder detikSumatraSaturday (7/4/2023).
In addition to the Secretary’s room, there is also a room for the Head of General Affairs which is sealed. You can see the room is sealed in white with red and black writing ‘Under KPK Monitoring’.
Deputy Regent of the Meranti Islands, Asmar, when confirmed, admitted that he did not know about the arrest. However, he got a lot of reports.
“I don’t know that, many people have asked me. I was asleep earlier, but I don’t know, maybe it is. But I don’t know,” said Asmar.
detikcom have tried to contact the KPK to confirm the news about OTT Buparti Meranti Muhammad Adil. However, there has been no response from the KPK.
