jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The former Head of the International Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte appealed to anyone involved in the shooting at the official residence of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo to be chivalrous and admit their actions.
According to him, whether or not this matter is revealed really depends on the honest leadership of the Police.
“Gentle, don’t be suspicious because there are victims,” said Napoleon after the trial for the alleged abuse case at the South Jakarta District Court (PN) on Thursday.
He asked the public to continue to support the Police regarding the shooting incident that killed Brigadier Nofryansah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J.
“Please, the public will continue to support the Polri institution,” said Inspector General Napoleon.
He welcomed the steps taken by the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo by deactivating Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, South Jakarta Police Chief Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto, and Head of the Internal Security Bureau Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan related to the case of Brigadier J.
However, he cautioned that the deactivation was only temporary.
“Look, temporarily deactivated is different from being replaced, temporarily deactivated can still return. So, let’s continue to monitor how this case is progressing,” said Napoleon.
