JAKARTA – Chairman of the DPP Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), KH Ahmad Shabri Lubis, said that his party could not explain where Habib Rizieq was for the sake of safety and security.
“Pray also for Habib Rizieq, for the location of Habib Rizieq for reasons of security and safety for him and his family, we cannot mention it,” said Shabri Lubis in his statement, Monday (7/12/2020).

The reason is, last night there was an attempt to shoot Habib Rizieq’s group and until now there are still six soldiers who have been missing were kidnapped.
“Once again, this is a special internal Subuh recitation for the nuclear family. On the way to the location of the family’s Subuh recitation, the group was intercepted by OTK thugs, who we strongly suspect were part of a stalking operation and to harm Habib Rizieq,” he continued.
“The OTK thugs who were in charge of the operation intercepted and fired shots at the family guard troops,” he said.
“Until now, the barriers have successfully carried out the shooting and 1 car containing 6 soldiers is still missing and kidnapped by OTK thugs on duty,” he concluded.
Previously it was reported that the police shot a group suspected of supporting Habib Rizieq Shihab on the Jakarta Cikampek Toll Road. At least 6 people were shot dead.
Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Pol Fadil Imran said the incident occurred when officers were checking information about a mass mobilization regarding the summoning of Rizieq Shihab at Polda Metro.
Then, said Fadil, this group thought to be from Habib Rizieq attacked the officers so that the officers were forced to open fire which resulted in their deaths.
“The group suspected of being the MRS who attacked the members took firm action and died 6 people,” said Fadil in a press conference at Polda Metro.
