JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV- A screenshot of a Whatsapp group message containing provocations to fight the National Police Anti-terror Detachment 88 circulating on social media (Medsos). The message contained a call for the people to burn the police stations.
Responding to provocations circulating on social media, the Special Detachment (Densus) 88 of the National Police Anti-terrorism has imposed an alert status.
This was stated by the Head of the Operational Assistance of the Special Detachment 88 Anti-terror Police Kombes Pol Aswin Siregar in his statement as quoted from: Between, Friday (11/19/2021).
“We are vigilant,” said Aswin.
Furthermore, Aswin ensured that Densus 88 Anti-terror had anticipated cyber units at the National Police Headquarters, Regional Police, and Polres.

Densus 88, he continued, will continue to focus on preventing and suppressing terrorism operations in the country

In his statement, Aswin said that after the arrest of three suspected terrorists in Bekasi, West Java, uploads of provocations against Densus 88 Anti-terror were actually reduced.
