The streets of Khartoum turned like battlefields. Protesters burned tires and trash in the middle of the road. Community activities came to a complete halt due to the riots that broke out.
“The military has taken Sudan’s Prime Minister (PM) Abdalla Hamdok to an undisclosed location,” said a statement from the Sudanese Ministry of Information on Monday (25/10/2021).

“The military took the prime minister to an unknown location after he refused to support the coup,” the ministry wrote on Facebook.

Hamdok, who was previously under house arrest, called on residents to take action to defend the revolution.
