The Moria refugee camp on the Greek island of Lesbos has almost completely burned up after several fires broke out during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. According to the fire brigade, there are currently no casualties, but a few slightly injured with breathing problems from inhaling the smoke.

The fire could spread quickly, partly due to strong winds up to 70 kilometers per hour. The cause of the fire is not yet known. At least 25 firefighters are present to extinguish the fires.
