After the release of the updated Warcraft 3, criticism boiled down to the fact that the game lost the functions that were present in the original: the clan system, player profiles, rating, automated tournaments, the ability to play on your own single-player maps, and others.
What has changed since then was described by a Reddit user with the nickname Angzt. The game has received eight fixes, the first of which was for technical fixes and the last for gameplay balance. The only major change is that the developers have added the ability to play on single-player fan maps.
Since May, Blizzard has been actively communicating with the community, adding a roadmap and articles. However, the timing of the implementation is not named.
The topic has received over 11,000 likes on Reddit, which shows that a large number of players agree with his opinion. It’s also easy to find posts on the official Blizzard forum in recent weeks in which players ask about the future development of Warcraft III: Reforged, but the developers do not respond to them.
Over the past three months, the game has not implemented any of the promised features. Accordingly, the elements that were supposed to get into Warcraft III: Reforged at the start are still in limbo.
