Karl-Heinz Kamiz discovered his motif in a fish pond in the Saalbach valley. The reflections from the trees left colorful stains on the water. Fine dabs were created that are reminiscent of paintings by great modern artists.
In the photo competition for the “most beautiful Wuppertal water photo” by Ströer and Wuppertal Marketing, the picture not only surprised the jury, but also convinced them.
The winning photo is posted on a large Ströer billboard on the very busy Südstrasse: Marie Scherner and Thomas Lehner put the photographer Karl-Heinz Kamiz in the middle.
Under the motto “the most beautiful Wuppertal water photos”, Ströer and Wuppertal Marketing had called on Instagram to send in pictures. The submissions could be linked with the hashtag #stroeermeinwuppertal. A jury selected four photos from 78 entries. Wuppertal Marketing has been represented on Instagram under @wuppertal for years. With the hashtag #meinwuppertal used by WMG, Instagram users show their personal view of the city.
