When asked why Meler wore a neck brace during the treatment process, Yörübulut said, “He may have a neck hernia because he is an athlete. There was only a flattening of his neck after the trauma. He had an old hernia. We wore a neck brace for him as a precaution. The fracture will heal over time. It was actually a small crack. “The bleeding has already started to decrease.” he replied.
Faruk Koca, who was arrested for beating Meler on the field, resigned from his position as MKE Ankaragücü Club President.
