Turkish football is immersed in a scandal that transcended borders after a judge and a referee instructor were expelled after the leak of an intimate video between the two.
As it turned out, the judge Elif Karaarslan, 24 years olda former Besiktas player who dedicated herself to refereeing after an injury kept her away from the fields, and Orhan Erdemir, 61, a former international referee who was a FIFA official, star in an intimate video that has gone viral.
For this reason, both were expelled by the Turkish Football Association.

After the decision, Karaarslan, who has 400,000 followers on Instagram, denied that the video was original and stated that it was a montage made by Artificial Intelligence in which the faces of those involved were added.
“A video was posted on social mediacreated entirely through artificial intelligence from another person’s social media account, with no relationship to my client. I will defend my cause until the end. I am just one of the many who are being harmed. I hope to be the last…”, said the judge through her lawyers.
