Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon (47) has broken up after 12 years of marriage.
Reese Witherspoon posted a post on Instagram on the 24th (local time) with her husband, Jim Toth. The two said, “I have personal news,” and said, “We made a difficult decision to divorce.”
Reese Witherspoon married actor Ryan Phillippe in 1999 and they had two children, but they divorced in 2007. In 2011 she remarried to Jim Toth and she had a son with the two.
The two also said, “We have had many wonderful years together. We will move forward with deep love and respect for what we have created together,” he said. “Our priority is the direction our son and our family will go.”
He added, “I sincerely appreciate all of you who respect my family’s privacy.”
Reese Witherspoon debuted in the 1991 film ‘Danny’s Jealousy’. She subsequently garnered worldwide love for her with the 2001 release of the film ‘Legally Blonde’.
