“Rednex” singer Anders Sandberg has died, reports Norrbottens-Kuriren.
For the broad audience was Anders Sandberg known under the stage name “Dagger” as a singer in Rednex.
The other members of the group now express their grief.
“Our Rednex family will never be the same. You will be so missed, our legend. This is one of the saddest days in our history. Dagger, we love you,” they write on their official Facebook page.
Anders Sandberg was 55 years old.

Joined the group in 2001
Rednex had their big international breakthrough in 1994 with the single “Cotton Eye Joe”.
Anders Sandberg first joined the group in 2001 and then left the band six years later. In 2009 he returned to the group and was active there until his death.
