Xiaomi is launching an affordable tablet from the subsidiary brand Redmi on the Czech market. The device is sold under the name Redmi Pad SE, is intended for younger users and students, and is intended to combine practical use for work purposes and leisure entertainment. It is sold in a memory specification of 4 + 128 GB for 4500 CZK. You will get a discount of five hundred when you buy before August 27, 2023. There is a gray or green option to choose from.
The tablet relies on an 11-inch Full HD+ IPS display with an aspect ratio of 16:10. Its maximum brightness is only 400 nits and a refresh rate of 30 to 90 Hz, which, however, corresponds to the low price of the tablet. At the same time, the display is adapted for reading longer texts and includes Classic and Paper reading modes, which do not strain the eyes so much. Technology is also implemented to reduce unpleasant flickering of the panel in the range of 0 to 3000 Hz.
In terms of sound, the Redmi Pad SE is equipped with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio technology using four speakers. The construction of the tablet is made of aluminum, which makes it possible to achieve a low weight of less than 480 grams. The thickness of the tablet is 7.4 mm, yet it managed to fit a battery with a capacity of 8000 mAh. Too bad charging faster than 10W isn’t supported.
The tablet’s performance is provided by the Snapdragon 680 chipset, connectivity is only via Wi-Fi, not via operator mobile networks. The tablet runs on Android 13 with the MIUI Pad 14 superstructure. There is a 3.55 mm jack and two cameras (8 Mpx at the back, 5 Mpx at the front).
