Redmi Note 12 Specifications to be Available in Indonesia as per Reports

Liputan6.com, Jakarta Xiaomi Indonesia’s boss hinted at the entry of the Redmi Note 12 smartphone to Indonesia, after a long wait.

“🛑🍜📝12 series. Finally，the wait is over!” wrote Xiaomi Indonesia Country Director Wentao Zhao through his Instagram account, where the emojis refer to the words “Red”, “Mi”, and “Note.”

Smells of Redmi Note 12 entering Indonesia have indeed been detected since the two new Xiaomi cellphones were listed as having received Domestic Component Level (TKDN) certification from the Ministry of Industry last January.

One of them has the model number 23021RAA2Y, which according to Xiaomiui.net, is the Redmi Note 12 4G, which is specifically for the global market. Models with this number are codenamed “Topaz.”

The Redmi Note 12 4G with the code name Topaz is known to have an NFC feature. Unlike those who have codename Tapas, which doesn’t have NFC and will reportedly be sold in India.

When launched in January 2023 for the first time, there were three models included in the Redmi Note 12 series, namely the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus.

For the Redmi Note 12 specifications, this device uses a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, with a 120Hz refresh rate. While the processor used is Snapdragon 4 Gen 1.

The price for the Redmi Note 12 starts at USD 187 (around Rp. 2.9 million) for the 4/128GB model, and USD 210 (Rp. 3.3 million) for 6GB/128GB.
