JAKARTA – Xiaomi preparing to release a new variant of the Redmi Note. Namely, Redmi Note 11 Series which is planned to be introduced on March 15, 2022 at 19.00 WIB on the Xiaomi Indonesia YouTube channel.
Nicknamed “The Champion of All Challenges”, the Redmi Note 11 is targeted to be a very competitive device in the mid-range class. Xiaomi did not give any leaks as to what the specifications of the cellphone were in Indonesia.
Redmi Note is one of Xiaomi’s best-selling and most popular models. 240 million units have been sold worldwide (Xiaomi Data Center as of 31 December 2021).
In Indonesia, the first Redmi Note series was introduced in 2014. In total, there are 9 models that have been released in Indonesia.
The first Redmi Note uses a 5.5” screen, 3G network, and MIUI 5 with a price tag of IDR 2 million.
Then, it was continued with the Redmi Note 3 in 2016. Being the first Redmi Note model that uses a fingerprint sensor on the back, uses a metal material, and a non-removable battery.
Then, there is the Redmi Note 5 with the first dual cameras, namely 12MP and 5MP, 5.99” screen, 4000 mAh battery and powered by Snapdragon 636. The product launch is also the announcement of collaboration with JKT48.

Redmi Note also provides many breakthroughs in the mid-range class. For example, the Redmi Note 6 Pro has a dual selfie camera. Redmi Note 7 uses a 48MP camera, and increased to 64MP on the Redmi Note 8.
