Redmi Launches Redmi G 2021 Gaming Laptop, There are Intel and AMD Variants

In China, Redmi has indeed become a separate brand that is separated from Xiaomi. Now! The latest surprise made by Redmi was to announce the presence of its newest laptop, Redmi G 2021. Launching in China, this device focuses on a gaming laptop.

Another attraction, this quietly introduced laptop comes in Intel and AMD variants. Both offer screens with a 144Hz refresh rate, support for up to 16 GB of RAM and no less interestingly, it has been strengthened by an RTX 3060 graphics card.

The Redmi G 2021 gaming laptop comes with a 16.1-inch screen that offers a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The Intel variant is powered by the 11th generation Intel Core i5-11260H processor, which is accompanied by 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.

On the other hand, the AMD edition is powered by a Ryzen 7 5800 processor and 16 GB of RAM. This laptop also offers 512 GB of storage. Both models run Windows 10, and they are expected to receive the Windows 11 upgrade soon.

Redmi also armed its new gaming laptop with the Hurricane Heat Dissipation 3.0 system which offers dual fans and four outlets to dissipate heat. The AMD variant of the heat dissipation system is also equipped with copper heat pipes.

The Redmi G 2021 Intel variant comes with a 180W power adapter, while the AMD model gets a 230W power adapter. Both models also offer other features such as Wi-Fi 6, DTX:X Ultra Sound, full-sized backlit keyboard, Xiao AI smart assistant, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, and Xiaomi game box support.

The Redmi G 2021 AMD variant is priced at 6,999 Yuan (Rp 15.4 million). Meanwhile, consumers who are interested in the Intel variant can only spend 5,699 Yuan (Rp 12.5 million). There is no word yet on whether Redmi will market the Redmi G 2021 outside of China. Let’s just wait.
