Jakarta (ANTARA) – Redmi has just launched the Redmi K50G or Redmi K50 Gaming Edition at a launch event in China, carrying the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC chipset and equipped with various features to maximize performance and enhance the device’s gaming experience.

Quoted by Gizmochina, Friday, the Redmi K50G features a sports car-inspired design with a sleek body and well-crafted details.

This smartphone also has an “X” shaped theme which can be observed on the back panel, camera module, and even the speaker holes. The camera frame also has an LED strip that doubles as a notification light.

The K50G has two triggers on the right side, pressing the power button a little lower than a traditional smartphone.

On the left, there is a volume rocker which is also positioned slightly lower than usual. The device has a metal frame and comes with an AG Glass coating on the back.

The K50G offers a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 480Hz. This display covers the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports HDR 10+, MEMC. The K50G screen comes with Display Mate A+ certification and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

The Redmi K50G offers a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor for the main camera. This sensor offers a maximum resolution of 9248 x 6944 pixels and offers a pixel size of 0.8m to 1.6μm (pixel binning).

There is an 8MP 120-degree ultrawide camera and a 2MP telemacro camera. The camera module also has a flash sensor that detects the frequency of the flashing lights and adjusts the shutter speed and ISO accordingly, so users don’t get the banding effect in photos or videos.
