Xiaomi announced the specifications of the new Redmi 12 5G phone this year, which comes with a design very similar to iPhone phones. The new phone is presented with one of the best processors available from Qualcomm in the mid-range category, and it is a completely new processor.
The phone weighs 199 grams and has dimensions of 168.6 x 76.3 x 8.2 mm. The back is made of glass with a plastic frame, and is resistant to water and dust with an IP53 certificate. It supports the installation of two fifth generation SIM cards or a SIM card with a 1 TB memory card.
The phone features a 6.79-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and FHD+ quality, with a pixel density of 396 pixels per inch, a brightness of up to 550 nits, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a third-generation Corning Gorilla Glass protection layer on the screen.
The fingerprint is located on the power button with Faceunlock support. It contains a 5000 mAh lithium polymer battery that supports 18-watt fast charging and is charged via USB Type C. The phone comes in black, blue and silver.
