Place Stanislas – if you did not know it yet – has been the jewel of the city of Nancy and its surroundings since its inauguration in 1755. Classified as a historical monument, it is part of the 18th century complex, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) since 1983, consisting of three squares including the Places de la Carrière and d’Alliance and the Arc de Triomphe. A label that celebrated its 40th anniversary last April.
