Redfall, the upcoming open world multiplayer shooter from renowned singleplayer immersive sim developers, Arkane, is set to release soon and its system requirements have been revealed. Surprisingly, it has also already received Steam Deck Verified status. The minimum spec requires an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 CPU, 16 GB of system RAM, and an AMD RX 580 or NVIDIA GTX 1070 GPU with 6 GB VRAM, as well as a 100 GB SSD. The recommended spec includes an Intel Core i7-9700K or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU, an AMD 5700 or NVIDIA RTX 2080 or Intel ARC GPU with 8 GB VRAM, 16 GB of system RAM, and a 100 GB SSD. While there is no indication of the expected frame rate for the game at each of these specs, players can refer to the ultra spec requirements in the full announcement for additional information. Redfall’s accessibility guide, which includes options for screen narration and font scaling, is also available to players. While Redfall’s trailers and footage may be unimpressive to some, Arkane’s support for the Steam Deck is noteworthy.
