This program aims to enable creative independence in television storytelling, through an integrated education system that promotes creativity and innovation, and allows filmmakers to benefit from the knowledge of this group, whose experience spans over 40 years in supporting creativity around the world.

The “Series Laboratory” program provides intensive training courses for developing television scripts from the first stages to publication. a group of professional television writers, program producers, and industry experts, through… Three different levels.

Selected teams

Red Sea Laboratories announced that 7 teams have been selected: Saudi team “Mission” by writer Noura Al-Aidi and producer Shahryar Ahsan, Lebanese team “Saria Othman Needs No Man” by producer Hiba Lewis and writer Stephen Khattar , and the Iraqi-Saudi Team “Bazuzu’s Breath” by writer Producer Ali Karim, and co-writer Dania Al-Tayeb.

The lineup also includes Kenyan team “Generation A” with writer Mona Umbogo and producer Louise Kamwangi, and Ugandan team “Switch” with writer and producer Nathan Majola and co-writer Loki Lola Atwine.

From India, the team selected was “Cold Case-One (Pullukandam Murder Case)” by writer Nithin Lukos and co-writer Hari Krishnan, and “Shani Bazaar” by writer Karan Kabir and co-writer Nitin Kaul.

The program includes workshops and intensive lessons given by a group of experts in the world of television series production, within a stimulating group work environment, as well as a two-week trip to an American city Los Angeles, with the goal of the teams participating in several intensive workshops there.

This comes in addition to attending the “Film Independent” Forum, which is a prestigious event that aims to allow filmmakers to tell their compelling stories, by giving them the tools and extensive social network that allow them to complete their projects. to see the light of day.
