“Red Roof” school opened for earthquake-affected children in Kahramanmaraş

The school, which was opened in Kipaş Prefabricated City, has play and reading areas, cinema and social spaces.

The President of the Red Children’s Association, Simay Bülbül, said on February 6 that everyone experienced great pain.

Stating that they have been in Kahramanmaraş since the day of the earthquake, Bülbül said, “We have been working with children under protection for years. We thought. So we wrote the Red Roof project. With the project, the children here will always be supported,” he said.

Bulbul stated that the school is an activity center and that psychologists, pedagogues and many artists will come to the school.

Noting that they will serve in a total area of one thousand square meters with a prefabricated garden for two years, Bülbül said: “We wanted to give children’s colors back. The greatest medicine for children is play. We are all here for the game and the healing process. Kipaş Holding has given us a very valuable place. Two years We’ve been here all through. This holiday is bittersweet, but our children need happiness. Many children came to me and said, ‘April 23 was the best I’ve ever had. After the sound of debris and scoops, I can hear the sound of fun. Thank you.’ “That’s exactly why we’re here,” he said.
