The presenter Red Ronnie and Giacomo and Andrea Muccioli, sons of the founder of San Patrignano, are under investigation for defamation against Walter Delogu, the former driver and close collaborator of Vincenzo Muccioli who later became one of his main accusers.
Delogu, as local newspapers reported today, had started a legal battle believing that it had been defamed by the words released by Red Ronnie and by Giacomo and Andrea Muccioli in interviews reported by the local and national press or by some streaming platforms in the weeks immediately following the publication of the Sanpa series by Netflix.
The Rimini Prosecutor’s Office served Red Ronnie and the Muccioli brothers with the notice of conclusion of the preliminary investigations. A necessary act, to allow the three suspects to be able to organize their defense if necessary. Walter Delogu “disputes” Giacomo Muccioli’s reconstruction of the affair which led him to plea bargain for a conviction for extortion of 150 million lire against his father. To Andrea Muccioli and Red Ronnie, however, he disputes the statements made in a video posted on YouTube.
The lawyers have 20 days to request a face-to-face meeting with the prosecutor or present defense briefs.
