Hundreds of loyalists and cadres of the National Awakening Party calling themselves Red CLA rejected his party in a coalition with the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS).PKS) in the 2024 election.
They held an action in the Pandanaran Park area, Semarang City, Tuesday (21/6). In their action, they unfurled a banner that reads “The Red PKB Rejects the Red Ant Coalition. Rejects the Coalition with the PKS”.
In addition, PKB Merah also welcomed the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition between the Gerindra Party and PKB.
A number of banners were unfurled that read “Red PKB Grateful for the Gerindra PKB Coalition” and “Red PKB Supports Prabowo-Muhaimin President-Vice President 2024”.
The PKB Red Coordinator for Semarang City, Rohadi, said this aspiration would be brought to the PKB DPP level. They hope that this aspiration can be realized soon considering that the 2024 election, especially the presidential election, is getting closer.
“We are very obedient to the General Chairperson of the PKB Gus Muhaimin Iskandar,” he said, as quoted by Antara Between.
He said PKB was a party that entered the top four in the 2019 election. According to him, survey results from several institutions indicated that PKB had the most loyal voters.
“It is natural for PKB to be looked at by other parties to form a coalition, especially in the upcoming presidential election,” he said.
He explained that PKB’s vision is to create a national political order that is democratic, open, clean, has good morals, and prioritizes welfare.
“We view that the appropriate cooperation or coalition for PKB in the 2024 election is with a party with a national vision with a number of supporters and votes that are not inferior to PKB’s in the last election,” he said.
In addition to conveying a statement of attitude, the action was also marked by shaving baldness and prostrating gratitude for a number of PKB Merah masses. The action ended with cutting the cone and eating with the passers-by.
In a different place, in Pemalang Regency, Central Java, PKB Merah also held the same activity. They urged Prabowo Subianto and Gus Muhaimin to immediately declare as presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 election.
