Red Magic 6 will officially pitch March 4 in China

Since last month, Nubia has shown that they will present their newest gaming smartphone, Red Magic 6 this year. Rumors have it that the Red Magic 6 will arrive in a Pro version and a lighter version in China. Today, Nubia confirmed that Red Magic 6 will break its guise on March 4 in China.

The official poster shown below was shared by Nubia President Ni Fei. According to him, Red Magic 6 has four main features such as appearance, fast charge, touch and fan and its performance is comparable to an F1 racing car. The launch event will begin at 7 pm local time.

For those of you who are curious about the specifications, the Chinese leaker claims that the Red Magic 6 will arrive with a screen that offers a 144Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. As is well known, this smartphone will support 120W fast charging.

Previous leaks also said that one of the attractions of the Red Magic 6 is the support of centrifugal fans which have better performance. A recent report revealed that the smartphone will be equipped with a completely revamped cooling system by Nubia.

In addition to the “amplified” performance fan, Red Magic 6 will also be equipped with a 9-axis spatial sensor to track the device’s movement in various directions. Recent reports also reveal that Nubia has collaborated with Tencent Games to provide a better gaming experience.

Two variants of the Nubia Red Magic 6 that recently passed the Chinese 3C certification are the NX669J and NX669J-P. The former is seen with a 66W charger, while the latter appears to be a Pro model as seen with a 120W charger.

The president of Nubia Ni Fei previously posted that Red Magic 6 will be supported by the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. Will this gaming smartphone be able to compete with the ASUS ROG Phone 5 which will be introduced on March 10? We’ll just wait.
