After a release on Xbox One consoles and PS4 then on PC, the game Red Dead Redemption 2 could well land on the Nintendo Switch. This is what suggests a recent leak unearthed in the codes of the title.

The game Read Dead Redemption 2 will be delayed. After postponing its release to the end of 2018, Rockstar has indeed published the different versions of the title drop by drop. The first release took place on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last year. The PC version then arrived late last November. Finally, the game only appeared on Steam a few weeks ago. But Rockstar may surprise everyone with another unexpected release on the console Nintendo Swtich.
The gamer and finder of new Tez2 has indeed published on his Twitter account an image that could well announce a Switch version of RDR2. The player found in the game files a drawing of a Nintendo Switch Pro controller. Tez2 does not give any other details, however, and nothing confirms the precise origin of the image.

Other hypotheses are therefore possible. The Nintendo Switch Pro controller being compatible with PCs, this image could simply mean that the PC version of RDR2 will soon be supported by the Switch controller. The port of Red Dead Redemption 2 on Switch seems indeed a little surprising, but after all, many game publishers are more and more tempted by the portable console from Nintendo.
Real find or fake news, this news quickly goes around the web and fans of the franchise seem rather enthusiastic about the idea of seeing the title land on Switch. For the moment, Rockstar does not confirm this information, however. The studio is currently working on some fixes for the PC version, on GTA 6, as well as on a mysterious title which would take place in a medieval universe. If Switch version there will be, it will not be for now.
