Since its release on PC on November 5, 2019, Red Dead Online has many mods, adding content, graphic improvements, and a lot of things more minor or humorous.
In short, as usual, modders are having a great time, but as often, some abuse the opportunity offered to them to cheat. Rockstar indicates that it has noticed that a certain number of players have fun using mods to spawn chests in Red Dead Online, as well as other elements, in order to progress more quickly. In his FAQ, the developer declares:
We know that some PC gamers use mod menus to generate treasure chests and other items in Red Dead Online. We are actively working to have these accounts banned.
