On Sunday afternoon there was a crash at the wooden house roundabout in Risch-Rotkreuz ZG. As the canton police say, a 64-year-old man coming from Cham drove on the Luzernerstrasse towards Rotkreuz. In the roundabout, he touched the curb on the right, subsequently lost control of his Audi, drove over a traffic island in the middle of the street and crashed into an oncoming car in the oncoming lane.

The driver, a 51-year-old woman, came from Rotkreuz and intended to drive into the roundabout as well. Due to the impact, her car was pushed a few meters from the street. The accident driver then drove a few meters further and hit the wall of the St. Wendelin church off the road.

64-year-old has got rid of tickets
Three people were seriously injured in the accident. It is the 64-year-old Audi driver, his co-driver of the same age, and the correctly driving 51-year-old. After the first medical care, they were delivered to various hospitals by the rescue service in Zug with several emergency vehicles. Total damage occurred on both cars.

The public prosecutor in the canton of Zug ordered a blood and urine sample from the accident driver in the hospital. The driver’s license was taken from him.
