Red Cross holds ‘Everyone Saving Lives’ race

Mexico City., The Mexican Red Cross held its Todos Salvando Vidas race this Sunday with 5 and 10 kilometer routes, as well as a 3 kilometer walk.

Carlos Freaner, head of the institution, was in charge of giving the starting signal for the athletics event that brought together hundreds of runners at the foot of the Torre Mayor.

Children, teenagers and even senior citizens participated in the race that took place simultaneously in 37 cities.

The winners of the ten kilometers were Rubén López and Erika Cuevas, while the winners of the five kilometers were Joshuo Sauza and Evelin Dávila.

The runners passed through streets such as Chivatito, Alencastre, Parque Lira and Paseo de la Reforma Avenue.

The route was guarded by elements of the capital’s security, as well as ambulances that safeguarded the safety of the participants.

The winners of both categories received a trophy and a gift from the sponsors.

The Todos Salvando Vidas race is held with the aim of encouraging a culture of prevention, healthy habits and family coexistence.
