The Red Cross humanitarian institution has launched a new blood donation campaign for the month of February. mobile unit, in addition to passing through Pinto on February 15 and 21will be present in Valdemoro and Ciempozuelos.

Although the reserves for all blood groups are still in an optimal state in the region, the Community of Madrid has warned that last week’s balance was negative. Hospitals needed 4,860 bags and 4,696 donations were made, which represents a reduction of 173 bags in reserves.
With measures such as these donation campaigns in the municipalities, the Red Cross intends to prevent reserves from continuing to decline, for which an average of 900 daily donations must be obtained in the region.
