Although the protagonists of this event on the weekend are the elderly, this event is intended for a wide variety of groups, which has more than 100 years of history, during which it has served to help try to keep the solidarity of society alive.
Since the birth of this program and, especially, as a result of the outbreak of the pandemic, the organization already has cared for 473 elderly, made an average of 12 visits per week to their medical appointments and made a weekly telephone follow-up to 110 people to alleviate their loneliness. In addition, it is visiting many of them at their homes and organizing nature walks and cultural visits to facilitate social relations between them and the environment. It also acts in all the countries of the world affected by this health crisis, representing the greatest mobilization of resources, capacities and people in its history in favor of the most vulnerable people and the general population, always acting under their Seven Fundamental Principles.
