Meteorologists instituted a red code for blizzard and snow in two counties in Moldova on Wednesday. Ro-Alert messages have been issued.
The National Meteorological Administration issued a code red severe weather warning on Wednesday.
This is valid from Wednesday, at 6:40 p.m., until Thursday, at 4:00 a.m. for the counties of Iasi and Botoșani.
According to the meteorologists, strong blizzards will be reported, with gusts of 75…85 km/h, heavy snowfall, blizzard and trojanite snow, reduced visibility to zero.
It is the first time that ANM issues a red code warning of snow and blizzard for the month of April.
